Taureans possess. We
own. We have things.
Things are nouns—persons, places, things.
We collect nouns. We want them all.
Nouns belong to us.
We keep what is ours.
I am a Taurus.
Taureans are hedonists.
Lazy. Self-indulgent.
We like to take it easy, although we can work.
We have the discipline to labor long and hard without rest,
But prefer relaxation to action.
Verbs are words of action unless they are passive.
Passive verbs allow us just to be—and to have.
I know in my writing I use many nouns,
And probably more passive verbs than I should.
I work hard to use more active verbs—but it’s not easy.
I am a Taurus.
